Michael Gotschim runs the traditional, upscale St Pölten business in the third generation. In an interview, he reveals why his clients not infrequently stride out of the salon as if on a cloud and why he no longer has any slow movers.

Cut, colour, blow-dry: What is your speciality?

My hobby is cutting, and my great passion is wigs. I am also responsible for the company's photos and videos. In my 3D photo studio, I can perfectly combine my hobby with my profession.

In which moments do you feel that you are doing exactly the right thing?

Gifting women hair – in the form of extensions or wigs – is a very special thing. When a female client has a hairstyle again after seven years and walks out of the salon on cloud nine, it's an indescribable feeling of happiness for me.

What would you like to pass on to your employees?
